TARA is a member of the City Centre Action Group, which brings together the three largest – and neighbouring – city centre residents associations to address issues of common concern.
TARA is joined in this Group by the Circus Area Residents Association (CARA) and the Pulteney Estate Residents Association (PERA), The Group holds regular meetings with Council cabinet members, council officers, the Police and the business community to ensure that their plans and decisions are informed by the views and needs of Bath city centre residents.
TARA is not directly affiliated with any other civic organisation or residents group, but liaises with a number of organisations active in the city centre, including:
- Bath Business Improvement District (BID)
- Bath Festivals
- Bath Film Office
- Bath Student Community Partnership (SCP)
- Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution (BRLSI)
- Bath World Heritage Enhancement Fund
- FOBRA, the Federation of Bath Residents’ Associations
together with a broad range of city centre charities.
